Inspired has declared that Ian Freeman will be their new Head of Commercial Operations.
Freeman will commence his new role on the sixteenth of November. He will be responsible for creating and enhancing Inspired’s virtual sporting offerings.
He’s taking over from Steve Rogers, who is departing after a quarter-century as Head of Commercial Operations to pursue new ventures.
Freeman possesses extensive experience within the iGaming sector. He served as the Chief Revenue Officer at FSBTech for nearly three years.
Prior to that, he held the position of Global Business Development and Commercial Vice President for IGT PlayDigital. He played a key role in the launch of the PlaySports brand in North America.
He also served as the Chief Commercial Officer for Kambi Group for a period of five years, collaborating with them both before and after their separation from Unibet (now known as Kindred).
Freeman previously held the position of Group Commercial Officer at EveryMatrix and was the Chief Commercial Officer for Kambi Group for five years. During his tenure there, he was a member of the management team and contributed to their public listing.
He has also held positions at MoxieSoftware, RSM Europe, and Xchange Communications.
Inspired is thrilled to bring Freeman’s substantial expertise on board.
“Ian’s deep knowledge of the sports wagering field is highly beneficial to our group,” stated Brooks Pierce, Chief Executive Officer and President of Inspired.
“Ian possesses a perfect combination of abilities necessary to propel our virtual sports enterprise to new heights, boasting a robust history in business, operations, and technology.
“Virtual sports are a primary force behind Inspired’s expansion strategy, and we are overjoyed to have Ian assume this crucial leadership position.”
Pierce also conveyed appreciation to the departing Rogers. “I wish to express my gratitude to Steve for his contributions to the company throughout the years. He has been an essential component of our achievements. We extend our best wishes for his future endeavors.”
