XLMedias top financial executive, Caroline Ackroyd, is taking her talents to a new role within the gaming world. Her tenure at XLMedia will continue until March 31, 2024, facilitating a seamless handover.
Although the corporate statement didn’t disclose Ackroyd’s specific destination, it verified that she’s joining another organization within the gaming industry. XLMedia has initiated the process of finding her successor and pledged to keep stakeholders informed.
Marcus Rich, XLMedias Chairman, conveyed appreciation for Ackroyd’s efforts over the preceding two years and extended well wishes for her future endeavors.
Ackroyd contributed extensive financial expertise to XLMedia, having previously served in various capacities at different firms, notably including a period at Sky Betting & Gaming.
Her exit coincides with an active phase for XLMedia. The company recently secured an exclusive collaboration with WRAL.com to furnish sports wagering content for their news outlet. Earlier this summer, XLMedia also generated $4 million by divesting three European casino holdings and established a revenue-sharing agreement with bet365.
