Allied Esports Entertainment has declared the divestiture of the World Poker Tour (WPT) to Element Partners.

A veritable titan in the realm of poker, the WPT enjoys broadcast distribution in over 150 nations and is presently in production for its 18th season, slated to be televised on Fox Sports Regional Networks within the United States. The transaction, bestowing Element Partners with complete ownership of all entities encompassed within the WPT’s operational framework, received approval from Allied Esports stakeholders on July 1, 2021, for a substantial sum of $105 million.

Subsequent to the sale, Allied Esports will redirect its concentration towards its primary esports enterprise and leverage the infusion of capital for prospective ventures.
